Waterless place
Where they seek rest
Gently denying light
Sorrow and mourning
They depart from them
Who see the truth
Wondering in endless dark
Two forms meet in this place
Where winter lay not in white
Only intense cold and night
Where fog meets darkness
To you who feel their touch
And taste their whispering cry
Lay you down in drowning thought
Tears gather water for their supply
One flame of light burns your life
Faint the fathers love you cast away
When once you saw a holy place
Now you swim in a see of strife
Where fog meets darkness
Will you sleep in your waste
Will you bath in the baptism
Will you hear the cries of your soul
When the candle light fades
And the black winter stays
What voice will you hear inside you
Only the mind can journey the way
Where the fog meets darkness
( The flame that flickers will grow and the shadows of your soul will depart when you separate the fog from the dark and see the light from above you and the light will lead you toward the narrow path to Heaven)

Reflections of a dream once had
Of the ones who planted the willows
weeping in the garden they hang
Forbidden by God a release
To remind us that sin and suffering
Can grow in the meadow of peace
Under the pale of the moon
A grim harvest takes place
To remember once was laughter
Now death hold blind loves face
Body sleeps on the ash that once was earth
Hidden far in the haunted land
Only to awake cold so far away
And longing for the meadow again

I bought this after hearing the first track. Such a great release. The vocals screech and moan through empty halls, the instruments reverb echoes this empty, cold atmosphere.

Primitive black metal? Yes, I agree! No talent? This is understatement and absolutely wrong! I listen to a lot of untalented scrap black metal at Bandcamp but WREKAN has a big talent to create true black metal atmosphere with simple means. "Gevurah" is raw and cold, the distorted screams seem to come from a deep abyss. But there are also a kind of majesty and decent melodic undertones hidden in the ferocity of this album which make it a pure and beautiful black metal experience. Check "Dust"!
